A public advisory from the Shuswap Emergency Program for those living in low lying areas near creeks and rivers in the region.

SEP Co-ordinator Cliff Doherty says there's no way of knowing at the moment which areas will be at risk when the temperature rises

He says residents who want information on the Shuswap Emergency Plan or need to know about sandbag locations can check out sepadvisory.ca.

The best plan of action for those residents at the moment is to prepare themselves as soon as possible.
